E.ON has today withdrawn its two price guarantee tariffs, EnergySaver v3 and PriceProtection v16. The tariffs have been replaced with more expensive versions.  Both tariffs offers a price protection guarantees until October 1st, 2009.

We encourage all consumers to strongly consider signing up to tariffs which offer price guarantees. Although these tariffs might cost a premium of up to 20% compared to the cheapest discount tariffs, these extra costs will be more than made up for by impending price increases on gas and electricity, which could total more than 50% by the first quarter of next year.
